Bookings and Payment

All bookings must be confirmed through our official channels, which include our website and any approved third-party platforms we partner with. Once you’ve submitted your booking request, we’ll send you a confirmation outlining the details of your trip, including timing, pickup location, and cost. Payment is required in full prior to the commencement of service unless a prior arrangement has been made in writing. We accept major payment methods and may offer invoicing options for approved clients.

Pricing is subject to change based on availability, location, service type, and seasonal demand. While we do our best to keep things transparent, we reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. If a pricing change affects your confirmed booking, we’ll notify you promptly and offer options to proceed, reschedule, or cancel.

Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans change—sometimes due to weather, sometimes due to life. If you need to cancel your booking, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice may be eligible for a full refund, processed back to your original payment method.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may incur a fee or result in a partial or non-refundable outcome, depending on the circumstances. If you fail to show up at the agreed pickup location without prior notice, we reserve the right to retain the full payment. We’re not fans of ghosting, and we hope you aren’t either.

Service Delivery and Expectations

Cheeky Kea is committed to providing safe, reliable, and timely transport services. Our drivers are trained, licensed, and friendly—ready to get you where you need to go with minimal fuss. While we strive for punctuality, we cannot guarantee arrival times due to factors outside our control, such as traffic congestion, road closures, or acts of nature.

If we are unable to deliver the booked service due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to offer a suitable alternative. If no alternative is available, we will issue a refund for the affected portion of the service. We do not accept liability for indirect losses, missed connections, or emotional distress caused by delays, but we will always do our best to keep you informed and supported.

Passenger Conduct

We expect all passengers to behave respectfully and responsibly while using our services. This includes following driver instructions, treating vehicles with care, and refraining from any behaviour that may be disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful. Smoking, consumption of illegal substances, and aggressive conduct are strictly prohibited.

If a passenger engages in behaviour that endangers the driver, other passengers, or the integrity of the vehicle, we reserve the right to terminate the service immediately without refund. We’re here to make your journey smooth—not dramatic.

Liability and Limitations

Cheeky Kea is not responsible for personal items lost, damaged, or left behind during transit. We encourage passengers to keep their belongings secure and double-check the vehicle before exiting.

Our liability for any service failure is limited to the value of the booking in question. We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by third-party events, force majeure, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If you experience an issue with our service, please contact us promptly so we can investigate and resolve it where possible.

Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Any personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for the purpose of delivering our services, communicating with you, and improving your experience. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.
